I am a realist, therefore I strive to reflect nature in its truest form with my own techniques revealed throughout the paintings. The ability to render a realisic painting takes a indepth knowledge of the color wheel, and it properties. An Artist has to know the subject and how to rendered it correctly, therefore drawing principles are a must! Often, Artist that are Realist, are considered copiers. This is simply not true. We love to paint what we see like any Artist that renders what they feel and see through other types of art, like abstract, for instance.

Below is my orginal digital painting "Intense" (left) along with the photo I painted from (right). The painting was created entirely with Corel Painter. The painting is from scratch. No areas of the photos were used in the painting.
