Seeds of Love ' With this ring I give you my promise that from this day forward You shall not walk alone. May my heart be your shelter And my arms be your home. These words are just a fragment of the vows exchanged between myself and my husband, Rick. Darce Jean and I dedicate this page to our loving husbands who have also emerged as our heroes, our "forever friends," and our soft places to fall. Mike and Rick - "God bless you both for wanting to share the rest of your lives with us." ' With this ring May we walk together through all thing May you feel deeply loved, for indeed you are. May you always see your innocence in my eyes. I thank God I thank you Amen. '

He took me to a special place Not many he has shown Where the river bed now is seen And the weeds have over grown. But through his eyes I saw it change To what it once had been The water cool and rippling Dry grass turned emerald green. Gently by my hand he led me then Back through his favorite years Of sun-kissed days and starry nights And secrets no one hears. His laughter echoed through the woods And intertwined with mine Just like two kids of long ago When everything was fine. And by the smile that lit his face I understood his need To walk this place of childhood Where Memories are freed. Thank you, Rick for showing me A place that means so much. And in return, I'll share with you A love no one can touch. Chris Barker Daydream Believer Sept. 1988 |

It isn't that we talk so much! Sometimes the evening through You do not say a word to me I do not talk to you. I sit beside the reading lamp, You like your easy chair, And it is joy enough for me To know that you are there! It isn't that we go so much! Sometimes we like to roam To concert or to theater, But best of all is home. I sew a bit or read aloud A book we want to share, And it is joy enough for me To know that you are there! It isn't that you tell me The thing I've come to know. It goes to deep for words, I think, The fact you love me so. You only have to touch my hand To learn how much I care, And it is joy enough for me To know that you are there! Anne Campbell |

...KISSED... Just before the man in the moon tipped his hat and bid the yawning stars a fond farewell, Just before the incessant sun stretched and made it's grandiose entrance with a radiant hello, You kissed me and the difference between night and day became insignificant. Love Is Love is such a fickle thing It can be soft as a feather Or have a bee-like sting. It can soar you to heights Hang your heart on a star Drop you down to your knees, Mock your tears from afar. Love is also a fragile thing It needs special care - Your constant understanding. Your sleep might be disrupted Your appetite seem strange Often fever is detected Emotions fight with change. But if you can be patient Allow life's dice to roll, Love can be a blessed thing For love can touch your soul. Chris Barker Daydream Believer ©1999 |
